To gather information, we conducted surveys of our fellow Loara sports athletes. We were able to gather nearly 90 responses:

We find it unfair that most students need to pay over 90 dollars for their sports equipment, and still suffer from poor condition in their facilities.
It is alarming that nearly 40% of students have been discouraged from joining a sport due to the price
More than 40% of students feel that their performance has been limited by limited funds. Poor funding is getting to the point where it’s inhibiting our students’ ability to perform
